Minute Media raises $17m in latest round of funding

first_imgMinute Media has announced $17m (£12.6m) of investment from its latest round of funding from new investors, including Goldman Sachs and Vintage Investment Partners as well as existing investors including Battery Ventures, Dawn Capital and Qumra Capital. The US-based Minute Media has now raised a total of $77m (£57m) in investment to date.  Minute Media – which provides user-generated sports and esports articles and video content that gets distributed by sports brands and Minute Media’s own websites which attract upwards of 80 million unique users each month while also offering content in 12 different languages.Minute Media operates three sports media sites, 90min, the football-focused site is ‘the world’s leading global football publisher’. 12up, which focuses on US sports and the pop culture that surrounds it. While DBLTAP is their esports-focused site, offering content from fans and experts.Asaf Peled, Founder and CEO, Minute Media had this to say: “Unlike traditional players in our industry, our tech-driven approach to publishing has been key to our growth during such challenging times in digital media. We are clearly cemented at the intersection of platforms, publishers and communities. Baždarević published the List for Belgium and Cyprus

first_imgCoach of the national team of BiH Medhem Baždarević published the list of players for qualification matches with Belgium and Cyprus, for the World Championship 2018.Invitation for the gathering on October 3 in Brussels was sent to 25 players, while the broader list includes Hodžić, Bajić, Kožulj, Stevanović and Dumić, whom the coach intends to call in case of injuries of other players.“I am optimistic prior to these matches that we will play in the next ten days,” said Baždarević and added: “All the famous names are on the list. Today, tomorrow and on Friday I intend to watch come matches of our players and once again check their shape before the gathering.
