All over the country. We were driving through Mt. Dora just a few days ago and I was looking at the town, and I told my husband that crime is everywhere and I told him just look how Mt. Dora used to be, and that hardly anything bad used to occur there but that now it is different with some really bad things happening there, and I said it used to be so safe, and a sleepy little town. He agreed with me. Just small talk. Then yesterday I read about the man who was shot in his front yard Friday, while out in his driveway working on his car by 3 men who came up, and demanded money, and when he said he didn’t have any, they demanded his wallet and wedding ring, and he refused, then there was an altercation, and they ran away, and the one with the gun, turned back and shot the man in his stomach. He managed to alert his wife, and now he is in ORMC in critical condition. Now the man was working on his car at 1:00 am, but still he had a right to work on his car without being robbed and shot. There are some sick people lurking around, just looking for someone to take advantage of, and they don’t think twice about shooting you! Do you know if there has been another wreck? Mama Mia Mama Mia Please enter your comment! That is a lot of people shot and they had police security too. Is it going to get to the point that people will have to be scanned for guns or other weapons before they are allowed to enter? I guess that would be the best thing ever but the NRA would protest that and would say that it would violate their constitutional rights, I assume. We went to a Hank Williams Jr. and David Allan Coe concert with other performers that I can’t remember now, years ago at the old T Bowl, and everyone was searched and frisked before allowed to enter, and it still got extremely rough and rowdy with fighting going on in there all day long. No weapons, no biker chains, no guns, you name it, and they still found a way to slug it out after they got boozed up. There were even women fighting too, and losing their tops, and throwing beer on each other to the delight of the men. I sure was glad there weren’t guns and weapons on those people in there!
